The Invention Of The Van- What Would We Do Without It

The van is a bigger invention than people first may think and this is why. People use the van for so many different things from transporting goods to storage of tools for unique trades. What would all these people do without the vans they currently have?

If you really think about it, a lot of businesses would not be able to carry on with the business.

The Massive Delivery Firms

Delivery firms like Parcel Force, UPS and more importantly for the UK, The Royal Mail. They find it hard to deliver things on time as it is at the moment can you imagine would the Royal Mail would be like without their all important red vans? Nothing would be recieved anywhere. It is without doubt that UPS and Parcel Force would not exist as they are the ones that concentrate on the larger packages that the postman on bikes cannot carry.

Would Music Stop?

Nothing is ever going to put a stop to music as a whole but you would start to see a fall in artists because many of them start out by using a van as it is often the cheapest and easiest way for bands to get around in to begin with.

A Postitive To This?

The van is one of the most commonly used vehicles for a criminal and is used for kidnapping, theft and abductions. Would this affect the number of crimes that are committed?

Why would people just not drive a lorry? Well for one you need to take separate tests top be able to drive one of these and this is both time consuming and costly for a company. The lorry can not actually fit into many of the smaller roads which is one of the reasons that the van was invented in the first place.

Conclusion

Well it is obvious that without the invention of the van some people would be well and truly stuffed.

Small van leasing as well as  commercial  contract hire and van contract hire have further helped van users to save money when thinking about a new van.
